They Think We Are Stupid

The evidence is growing to the point where it's going to be hard to deny.....these mofos think we are stupid or, at least easily mislead. How else do you explain John McCain settling on an inexperienced former mayor of an Alaskan town of 7,000 that he had met in person once (1 time, y'all!!) before selecting her as his running mate? A person whose aspirations before she became involved in politics included working as a news anchor (there is nothing wrong with that, but she was the one that felt the need to try and clown Obama about being a community organizer, so turnabout is completely fair here.) and as a participant in beauty pagents (again, that is not a crime, but in no way does that help to prepare her to lead.) Someone who, upon receiving the nod from McCain, read an acceptance speech that included quotes on the superiority of small town values from Fascist writer and avowed racist Westbrook Pegler. This is a person that refuses to cooperate with the investigation of her administration for allegedly pressuring an official to fire a state trooper that happened to be in the midst of a nasty divorce from Gov. Pallin's sister because Obama supporters have "tainted" the investigation.......If I could talk to McCain face to face, without cameras or any kind of media present, I would ask him how am I supposed to vote for him knowing what I know? How is Pallin more qualified to lead than Obama? What am I supposed to take away from Pallin's acceptance speech, given her choice of source material? As a black man, how do I muster even an inkling to consider voting for McCain? All I know is as more and more facts come out about Pallin, I seriously look at McCain in a completely different light than I first did; he now looks to be so desperate that he will do anything , including picking someone for completely political reasons without really knowing them to be his running mate. That, my friends, means he thinks women are so shallow and so pissed about Hillary Clinton's loss that they will run to vote for another women, simply because she's a women without any regard for who she is and what she stands for. In all honesty, folks, that means that they think we are stupid, period. So, what are we gonna do about it?
