I just want him to hit back. I'm through with Barack taking the high road, always having to be civil and rational and calm.......I want him to tell McCain that he'll kick his old ass.....now, as sure as my fingers touch these keys and type out this blog, I know full well that will never happen, as the man is simply too cool for that. But now, in the aftermath of his shunning of the Clinton political machine and taking the homie from Delaware, Joe Biden (Joe, whatup, it's your boy, D, from Del State......it's been a minute, but look at you now, son!!! Stay up, we've got your back!!!!!!!!!) as his running mate, I want dude to just snap back the next time McCain or the flunkie closest to him decides to say something stupid, which, if history is any indicator, is happening as you read and I type. Biden is a bit snippy himself, and that will serve the ticket well coming down the stretch to November, as the Republicans have shown they will leave no stone unturned in their quest to paint Obama as inexperienced and not ready (I'm sorry, but isn't that the way they think of all of us?) and worthy of your worst fears and suspicions. I just want Barack to stand up and give them back what they are so willing to dish out, without fear, in his own voice. I want the Republicans to realize that they need to talk about issues, as Washington is not the place to brag on years of experience any more. Experience (even though Dubya was just as green when he took office), in the New World Order, is overrated, all we ask is clear vision and the ability to not flinch in our route to get there. I want Barack to take the podium on Invesco Field on Thursday night, look into the camera and speak from his heart, regardless of what the wack jobs @Fox News say or whatever comes to the pill induced mind of Rush Limbaugh to roar to his audience. I want Biden to play the part of Number 2 to the hilt, disappearing when not needed, but on the front line, snarling and ready to go whenever the situation calls for it.....I want Michelle to take the floor tonight and, just like a mother or two that I know, tell us what we need to hear, regardless of if we actually want to hear it. I just want the whole fiasco of this week to be the start to something much more significant. I guess there is a bunch to do in Denver and I can't wait to see it get done.
